Recruitment

Run your hiring pipeline end to end — from a job requisition through posting, applicants, interviews, and offers.

Recruitment is a payroll add-on. If you don't see it in your sidebar, ask your Soundial administrator to enable the Recruitment module for your company.

The hiring pipeline

A hire moves through five stages: Requisition → Job Posting → Applicants → Interviews → Offer. Each stage has its own page under the Recruitment section, and the RMS Dashboard gives you a snapshot of everything in flight.

Creating a requisition

A requisition is the internal request to hire for a role. It captures the position, department, headcount, and budget before the job goes public.

1

Go to Requisitions

RecruitmentRequisitions
2

Create a new requisition

Enter the job title, department, number of openings, and employment type.
3

Submit for approval

Once approved, the requisition can be turned into a public job posting.

Posting and distributing a job

1

Go to Job Postings

RecruitmentJob Postings
2

Create the posting

Write the job description, requirements, and location, then publish it.
3

Distribute it

Use
RecruitmentDistribute
to share the posting to your public careers page and external job boards.
Your public careers page and machine-readable job feeds update automatically when you publish or close a posting.

3

Hand off to onboarding

Once the candidate accepts, start their onboarding to collect documents and convert them into an employee. See the Onboarding guide for the next steps.

AI screening (optional)

If AI Recruitment is enabled for your company,

RecruitmentAI Screening
ranks and summarizes applicants against a posting's requirements to help you prioritize who to review first.

AI screening is an assistant, not a decision-maker. Always review candidates yourself before advancing or rejecting them.
